## What bizstock is

bizstock is a business operating system — one program that runs selling,
purchasing, inventory, customer and supplier ledgers, tax and reporting for any
business that buys and sells. Three things distinguish it:

- **Offline-first.** Every part of the app runs on the device itself. Billing,
  checkout, stock, ledgers and reports need no connection, no server and no

## Licences

The Offline plan is also sold as a fixed-term licence — 3 months, 6 months or
1 year — instead of a subscription. A year is billed as ten months.

## Add-on

Weekly cloud snapshot: once a week a full copy of your books is uploaded to our
servers, so a lost, stolen or broken device does not take the business with it.
Cloud Sync and Realtime keep a current copy continuously and do not need it.

### What is bizstock?
bizstock is a business operating system: one program that runs selling, purchasing, inventory, customer and supplier ledgers, tax and reporting for a business that buys and sells. ### Is bizstock modular, or do I have to use all of it?
Modular. It is one system rather than a shelf of separate products, and you only ever deal with the parts your trade needs: a service business never has to look at batch numbers, and a retail counter never has to look at production runs. Nothing needs integrating, and nothing is bolted on later.

### Does bizstock really work with no internet?
Yes. Billing, checkout, stock, customer ledgers and reports all run on the device itself. There is no waiting on a server and nothing to reconnect to, because nothing left the counter in the first place. Internet is only involved if you choose a plan that syncs your devices to each other.

### What happens to my data if the computer is lost, stolen or broken?
On the Offline plan the app backs itself up to the same device every 24 hours and you keep those backup files somewhere safe yourself. If losing the device would mean losing the backups too, add the weekly cloud snapshot for Rs 500 a month: once a week a full copy of your books is uploaded to our servers, so you can restore onto a new device even if everything on your premises is gone. Cloud Sync and Realtime keep a current copy on our servers continuously.

### Can I run bizstock on more than one device?
Yes. Offline covers one device. Cloud Sync covers two and Realtime covers five, and extra devices can be added to either. Devices can also sync over your local network with no internet at all. You approve every device that joins, and removing one wipes its local copy of your data.

### Is there a free trial, and do I need a card to start?
There is a 7-day free trial. No card, no signup and no account — download the installer, put it on your counter and start selling. Nothing to cancel if you decide against it.

### Which devices does bizstock run on?
Windows for the counter and the back office, and Android for phones and tablets used on the shop floor or on delivery routes. Both can print, and the Android app updates itself when a new version is released.

### What languages does bizstock work in?
English and Urdu today, with Arabic next. Every screen, button and message is translated, so your staff can run the whole app in Urdu while you keep your own reports in English. The app already lays out right to left for Urdu, so Arabic fits the design it has rather than needing a new one. More languages are on the way — tell us which one your business needs and it moves up the list.

### Can it handle GST, NTN and filer status?
Yes. GST can be applied per line or across a whole invoice, as a percentage or a fixed amount, and printed invoices show it clearly. You can record your own NTN and STRN with your business details, store a customer's tax numbers and filer status, and advance tax is then applied automatically.

### Can I bring in my existing product and customer list?
Yes. Import products, customers and suppliers in bulk from Excel or CSV. Use the ready-made template or bring your own file and the app matches your headings. You see exactly what will be added, filled in or skipped before anything is saved, and existing records are merged rather than duplicated.
